A maximum of 1000 alarms and events can be shown in the Event Summary control. Use this field to specify the maximum number of events that you want to display.
The number of events can be set to less than 1000 for loading and performance tuning.
If there are more than 1000 events, the list will be truncated. The two check boxes, Show Oldest and Show Latest, allow you to specify how to truncate the list, if the number of events exceeds the maximum. The default is ‘Show Oldest’.
When selected, this option will show the oldest events up to the specified maximum.
Note: If the number of events between the specified start and end time exceeds the maximum, events nearest the start time will be displayed. Events nearer the end time may not be displayed.
When selected, this option will show the most recent events up to the specified maximum.
Note: If the number of events between the current time and the specified end time exceeds the maximum then the most recent events will be displayed. Older events may not be displayed.
