The Item Selector is a simple application to help with the building of paths to Exaquantum items. These paths are required as parameters to the ODBC Client stored procedures to identify the particular tag data that is required.
Use the data selector to pick the tags required by selecting them and dragging them into the right-hand Items list. An item can only be added once to the Items list. Individual entries may be removed from the Items list by selecting the item to remove and using the right-mouse button menu or the left-hand icon above the list.
All the entries in the Items list can be removed by using the right-mouse button menu or the right-hand icon above the list.
At any time the items in the chosen list can be copied to the clipboard by using the clicking on the Copy to Clipboard button. This copies a comma-separated string, for example Root.Tag1.Value, Root.Tag2.Value. This string can then be pasted into a query parameter for use in an ODBC client application.
