The Simple Historical template configures the trend to exhibit the following behaviour:
Only the graph of the Trending control is displayed; the legend and time bar are not displayed
Shows historical data over the last two hours
The cursor line of the graph is displayed as a dotted vertical line
A maximum of eight tags are permitted
Historical values over the time period will be plotted for each tag using a solid line
Tag values are plotted onto a percentage y-axis scaled 0 to 100%, against time (x-axis)
All numeric tag attributes will have data type aware matching (the ability to decide which axis an attribute is plotted on based on the type of the tag value, i.e. Double precision floating point data will be plotted on one axis, Integer data on another, Single precision floating point on another, and Long Integer on another)
Each Y-axis is configured to use a stepped plotting method (the plotting method used for each Y-axis can be: Point, Stepped, or Line)
The colours of the areas of the Trending control are:
Background Colour - light grey
Graph Background - light grey
Desk Background - white
Text Colour - black
Graph Foreground - black.
Both vertical and horizontal grid lines of the graph are displayed
Spot values (values taken from a specific date and time in history) displayed in the Legend use a cursor time of 1 hour in the past.
Note: By default, the Legend component is not displayed in the Simple Historical template.
If you select the Legend option, in the Trend Appearance tab, the default attributes for the Legend columns are:
Value
Engineering Units
Description
Engineering High limit
Engineering Low limit.
